Beaches are the favorite destinations of the tourists. Beautiful beaches with scenic landscapes attract travelers. Beach gives the magical feeling of calm and serenity. It is the best place to relax and rejuvenate.

We have curated a list of some unique beaches that you must visit at least once in your lifetime.

Some of the world-famous beaches are:


1.The Pink Sand Beach, Bahama, North America


The Pink Sand Beach is named so for its unique pink sand. It is situated in the Harbour Islands of Bahamas. The tourists from different parts of the world are attracted by this scenic beach. The pink color comes from foraminifera, a minute organism that has a reddish-pink shell.




2. Black Sand Beach, Punalu’u Park, Hawaii, USA.


The beach of Punalu’u Park has black sand. It gives tourists a different kind of feel. This beach looks gorgeous! Visit it to believe it. Black sand is made of basalt which is created by lava flowing into the ocean that explodes as it reaches the ocean and cools

Hawaii islands have got some active volcanos but worry not, they are far away from the beach!




3. White Sand Beach, Hyams Beach, New South Wales, Australia


This White sand beach in New South Wales has the whitest sand in the world. Holidaying in the Hyams Beach appears to be playing with snow in the hot summer days.




4. Green Sand Beach, Papakolea Beach, Hawaii, USA

This Beach in Hawaii is unique for green color which is due to the presence of mineral olivine as the chemical constituent of the sand. Experts say, the Olivine, is a kind of magnesium mineral that originates after lava is cooled in seawater. Visitors throng here in large numbers.




5. Bioluminescent Beach, Maldives


Also known as Glowing planktons' beach.

It's like visiting some wonderland while you stroll on the sands of this beach. It is due to the luminous phytoplankton that glows and glitters on the shore. It is again seeing is believing experience. This one makes it to the top of my bucket list!




6. The Hidden Beach, Playa de Amor, Marieta Islands, Mexico.

The Hidden beach has an unusual landscape. It is formed by blasting and creating a huge cavern. This strange beach is one of the most sought destinations by many travelers across the World.




7. Maho Beach, West Indies


The airplanes fly so low that they seem to touch you while you are on the beach. Saint Martin Island is located next door to Juliana International Airport in Maho. If you love to see flying planes then this beach is a paradise for you. At times there is a danger of people standing on the beach being blown into the water because of the jet blast from aircraft landing or taking off. One has to be careful during these moments.




8. Glass Beach, Fort Bragg, California, USA.


The waste glass pieces have been disposed of on this beach for many years. It was used as a dumping ground by the people. Now a glossy beach has been formed by the tiny pieces of degraded glasses. The waves have washed away the broken pieces, creating miniature multi-colored trinkets. It is very safe to swim here.
