A Nepali couple in Vasai is serving finger-licking, authentic momos at their Kathmandu Momos shop! While they also do Desi Chinese, they are famous for the variety of momos listed on their menu.
Imagine, it is one of those cosy days when all you need is some comfort food to bring in that joy of little things in life you often crave! That is when I normally think of Momos (or Maggi :p)
Knowing that Vasai has got some amazing eating joints around I am very happy to know that a small, humble eatery like “Kathmandu Momos” exists!
The couple is very adorable, they might remind you of your grandparents when you first meet them!
We happen to visit the place sometime back when we were invited. Mrs Rashmi Sharma served us with:
1: Masaledar Momos: Spicy & Hot
Cost: ₹160
2: Steam Chicken Momos: Mildly spicy, soothing Cost: ₹90
3: Chicken Schezwan Momos: Desi Chinese taste, lip-smacking, garnished with fried noodles (my fav)
Cost: ₹120
4: Chicken Kurkure Momos: Crunchy, spicy (my fav)
Cost: ₹160
Please note: One plate has 8 pieces of momos each.
It was definitely a momolicious afternoon for us!
